Here we go again...
Salam folks, yes, I am back and for real this time. So, what is new, well, I was the subject of an intervention last week.
A little bit in the style of that Intervention show on A&E, although it was much more friendly and done with adab. No drama here, just well intentioned naseeha.
Two of my friends chipped in to get me on a 6 month Weight Watchers program (Stephanie, if you are reading this, I am sure you are glad that we are on the same program now!).
They were concerned about my health, which Alhamdullilah I am grateful for, it is nice to have people looking out for you. However, one of them thought that I would take it as an offense, because, well you know; weight is a very sensitive and personal issue to most overweight people.
But I know that they have my best interested at heart. And, let just be honest, I love free stuff, I can't help it! And I also think that it will motivate me more, since it is somebody else's money!
All in all, I am really happy about that because, it means that I am held accountable each week.
InchaAllah, I will update you on my progress there as I go along.

Still here...

just wanted to let you know that i am still here and should start blogging again next week, i had some issues that needed to be resolved and wasn't in the best of mood because of that. I was afraid that it would have transpired in my posts.

Sushi
Hope all of you are having a rockin' week-end, I know mine will be spent doing laundry and cleaning and shopping for groceries.
I had sushi for dinner a couple of days ago. I love sushi, I am enamored with sushi. I, actually, secretly wish that one day I will marry a Japanese dude who is a sushi chef! Lol, yeah, I know, I am crazy!!!
I had one of those pre-prepared "bento" combo (not sure, it is the right word for it...) with mostly avocado, salmon and shrimp. 'Twas good, but of course, nothing beats actually going to a sit down restaurant. 'Til next time dear readers!
